- How much does an e-commerce website cost?
- Ours runs $200 to $500 per month depending on catalog size and how much integration you need — the store build, secure payments, hosting, and local SEO are all in that number, with no upfront build fee. A comparable agency build is typically several thousand dollars up front plus a platform subscription and app fees on top.
- Should I just use Shopify?
- Sometimes, yes — if you have a handful of products and no special requirements, a platform store is fine and we will tell you so. Where a custom store earns its keep is when you have a large or unusual catalog, custom-artwork or made-to-order products, live pricing, local pickup rules, or you simply do not want your shop to look like a template. Two of the stores in our portfolio started as exactly those cases.
- Can you move my existing store and products over?
- Yes. We migrate catalogs, customer lists, and order history from Shopify, WooCommerce, Square, or a spreadsheet, and we keep your existing URLs working so you do not lose the search rankings you already have.
- How do payments work, and who holds the money?
- Checkout runs through a standard processor such as Stripe or Square — or the one you already use — so the money goes straight to your account; we never hold it. Cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay are included; tax and shipping rates are configured for how you actually sell.
- We are a physical shop first. Does an online store still make sense?
- Usually, because it is not either/or. For a physical shop the typical case is the customer who searches at 9pm, reserves for pickup, and comes in the next day — the site brings the person to the counter. Local pickup, in-store inventory, and 'call to reserve' all fit.
