Case study · E-commerce storefront

Adams Imprints website: a storefront that runs the shop.

A Michigan custom screen printing and drinkware shop, built as a full online store.

Custom orders, reorders and inventory were spread across text messages, social DMs and spreadsheets, so nothing showed what had sold or what was still owed. Adams Imprints needed one online store where customers could browse, upload their artwork and order, and where the shop could run the day from the same screen.

What we built for Adams Imprints, and why

  1. A catalog built for custom apparel and drinkware

Every shirt, hoodie and tumbler carries its sizes, colors and print options, so a customer configures the order instead of describing it in a message.

  2. Artwork upload inside the order

The print file travels with the order it belongs to, so the press never waits on an email attachment or a screenshot of a screenshot.

  3. Checkout that ends in a trackable order

Payment, confirmation and order status in one flow. Customers can see where a job stands and the shop never retypes it.

  4. One-click reorders for regulars

Teams, families and businesses that order every season reorder from their history, which is how a print shop keeps its best customers.

How the Adams Imprints website was built

  1. We mapped one order from first message to pickup

Before any design, we followed a real custom order through quoting, artwork, printing and pickup. Each step became a screen in the store or the back office.

The store fits how Adams Imprints already works.

  2. The back office came first

Inventory, sales and customer records were built and tested before the storefront opened on top of them, so the site only sells what the shop can track and fulfil.

Every sale is recorded where the owner can see it.

  3. Product pages written the way buyers search

Pages use the words people type for custom shirts, team apparel and printed drinkware in Michigan, with clear photos and options above the fold.

The catalog can be found as well as browsed.

  4. Managed after launch

We host, secure and update the store, and add products and seasonal collections as the shop grows, so the site never drifts out of date.

The owner runs the shop, not the software.
