Case study · Scheduling platform
Turbo Grips website: from a national brand’s fans to booked lessons.
Bowling lesson booking for a national bowling brand, built to turn players into coached sessions.
Turbo Grips is a known name in bowling, with coaches, partner facilities and events behind it. The brand wanted its following to book bowling lessons directly: see which coach is free, pick a tier, pay and show up, without an email chain.

Live coach availability
Each coach keeps a calendar and the booking page shows only open slots, so a bowler books a real time and nobody is double-booked.
Tiered lesson pricing
Lesson types and tiers are laid out so a league bowler and a competitive player each find their option, with the price set before checkout.
Facility and event pages
Partner bowling centers and upcoming clinics each have a page, so a player finds the nearest lane and the next event on one site.
A booking flow that ends in a confirmed session
Choose, pay, confirm. Both the player and the coach get the details, and the coach sees the day’s sessions in one view.
How the Turbo Grips website was built
The coach’s calendar was modelled first
The hardest part of any lesson scheduling product is the schedule. Coaches, locations and time slots were built and tested before the storefront screens.
Availability is always real.
A standalone booking app beside the brand
The platform runs on its own path next to the brand’s existing presence, so it launched without rebuilding anything the brand already had.
Lessons went on sale without a full redesign.
Payment at the moment of booking
A session is paid when it is booked, so a slot is never held by someone who has not committed to it.
Coaches teach paid sessions, not maybes.
Built to add coaches and locations
New coaches, bowling centers and events are added as data, not code, so the platform grows with the brand’s coaching program.
The program can expand without a rebuild.
